With the first issue raising questions, this issue finally gave us a few answers, which leads us to even more questions (which is definitely not a bad thing). The mystery is developing in an interesting way and the cliffhanger ending really helps to build excitement for issue 3. Jan continues to be an intriguing character, especially with the flashbacks to his childhood. My one nitpick about the issue is there’s one page in particular (page 6) that contains a lot of speech bubbles, which can make the page seem crowded at times, but as an aspiring writer I understand the need for all that dialogue so it’s not something I’m really upset about, just a detail I noticed.
